Field of Hopes, Inc. (FOH, Inc) is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children living in poverty by supporting athletic programs in poverty stricken areas within the United States and abroad. Using baseball as a uniting force, FOH. Inc. seeks to stimulate personal growth through sponsorship by providing much needed athletic and school supplies to the children participating in these targeted baseball leagues.

Because we recognize that confidence and optimism are integral components of success, FOH, Inc. will provide these children with a foundation of purpose to inspire and open the door of opportunity. Two additional cornerstones of our organization are emphasizing the importance of health and education. Knowledge and physical well-being are vital attributes of an athlete. All of our activities revolve around instilling the importance of learning.

Join us in our quest to change their lives, one child at a time.

There is comfort in familiarity. With the holiday season, come stories of greedy consumerism but at the same time, there is the persistent heartfelt warmth of people coming together. Coming together for disadvantage youth is the indescribable tone of goodwill that the season draws from us.

We are happy to announce that KIPP Infinity on 133rd street in NYC will be supporting the Association to Benefit Children (www.a-b-c.org) by donating food for their ‘Turkey Day Giveaway.’ ABC is an organization that supports families in New York City by offering counseling, support, and programming for families in need. The food will be delivered to families the week of Thanksgiving.

A special thanks to the following individuals for their kind contribution:

On Sunday September 6th 2009, FOH participated in the annual Back to School Day in the Bronx sponsored by Latino Sports Venture.

At the event, the children were given a delicious free lunch and played an exciting game of whiffle ball. At the end, all the kids were given backpacks filled with schools supplies and other treats including stickers and collectible sports cards.

Little Jordan R. was the lucky winner of a baseball signed by Yankee pitcher CC Sabathia. The ball was donated on behalf of FOH.
